The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.

Every year, people come together to unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet. Tens of thousands of people in every corner of the country celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change.

In 2024, Great Big Green Week will take place between 8th and 16th June. Local creative Hayley has been bringing together artists, educators and green groups to collaborate and plan Great Big Green Week activities across Dudley borough.

The theme for this year’s Great Big Green Week is: Let’s swap together for good.

Through Dudley People’s School for Climate Justice we seek to make it easier for people to share ideas, skills and practices which can help us to take climate action, and local ecological knowledge. If you’d like to share with skills and more with your community during Great Big Green Week (or any other time), join us for this online planning session.
