Our strategic objectives

To develop a high quality and pro-active voluntary sector for the benefit of the
residents of the Dudley Borough by positively engaging partners in support of
voluntary activity

  • Adult Skills for employability and workforce development;
  • 14-19 provision of NEET’s activities;
  • Skills support for the unemployed;
  • Community Grants.

Organisations that are eligible for funding from the SFA will need to apply to be listed on their ‘Register of Training Organisations’ and then be invited to compete in tenders (appearing on the register does not guarantee a contract). Community grants, however, will continue to be available to all eligible VCS organisations.

It is anticipated that, upon the EU Commissions sign off of the UK’s ESIF Operational Programme (due at the end of November 2014), the SFA will be looking to design and plan initial calls for proposals in March/April 2015.

The Black Country LEP is currently developing specifications for SFA delivery so that it can be an early starter in the delivery of the programme.
