Our strategic objectives

To develop a high quality and pro-active voluntary sector for the benefit of the
residents of the Dudley Borough by positively engaging partners in support of
voluntary activity

Dudley-based Oakham Research is undertaking a research project for Birmingham YMCA.

Birmingham YMCA provides training courses accredited by the Chartered Institute of Housing and is seeking feedback from Midlands-based Social Landlords and charities. In particular, from those people who are responsible for organising staff training. The purpose of the research is to enable Birmingham YMCA to identify training needs, evaluate which courses to run in future and develop a marketing plan for its training facility.

Oakham Research has created a survey which can be completed online via the link below.  There is a facility to complete the survey anonymously if preferred. Go to:

Birmingham YMCA is a Christian charity working with people, especially the young, regardless of faith, race, ability or gender. It is affiliated to the national and international YMCA movement which provides advice, representation and support. It is an independent charity with its own Board of Trustees. Currently, Birmingham YMCA has over 200 units of supported accommodation to people who have been homeless, helping them to live independently, and two nurseries providing affordable childcare. It also runs out-of-school clubs and holiday playschemes.
