Our strategic objectives

To develop a high quality and pro-active voluntary sector for the benefit of the
residents of the Dudley Borough by positively engaging partners in support of
voluntary activity

The Dudley Cold Weather Protocol is activated by the Dudley MBC Homelessness Prevention and Response Team.

The Cold Weather Protocol is Dudley’s undertaking to find a place of warmth and shelter for any person sleeping rough in the Borough when the temperature is predicted to be zero degrees or below for three consecutive days in the DY1 postcode area. The protocol covers anyone sleeping rough in the Borough regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, personal circumstances or past housing history. The main aim is to offer a short term place of warmth and shelter during the period of cold weather.

The local telephone to report sleepers is 0300 555 2345.

A new National telephone line was launched on December 11th. It is: 0300 500 0914.
Either number can be used to report rough sleepers in Dudley.
