Our strategic objectives

To develop a high quality and pro-active voluntary sector for the benefit of the
residents of the Dudley Borough by positively engaging partners in support of
voluntary activity

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. The CQC register, monitor and inspect services to make sure they provide safe, effective, compassionate, high quality care, and encourage them to improve.

On the 20th December the CQC launched a formal consultation on the next phase of regulation.

The consultation document, ‘Our next phase of regulation: A more targeted, responsive and collaborative approach’, follows the strategy for 2016 to 2021, published in May 2016, which sets out an ambitious vision for a more targeted, responsive and collaborative approach to regulation, so that more people get high-quality care.
The CQC want your views on a number of proposals for implementing their five-year strategy. Please visit http://tinyurl.com/gnk5ced to view the strategy and for more details.

If you would like to share your views, please read and respond to the consultation at www.cqc.org.uk/nextphase. The consultation closes on Tuesday 14 February 2017.

To support you to respond to the consultation, we will be hosting discussions on our public online community. You can access the community http://tinyurl.com/j6s5pmu
