Small Charities Finance Programme - Charity Finance Group (CFG)

Charity finance can be complex, especially if you don’t have a dedicated finance team.
Whether it’s banking, forecasting, Gift Aid, salaries, pensions, VAT, annual reports, tax, auto-enrolment, budgets, cash flow, trading, outsourcing or managing risk, CFG’s new Small Charities Programme will help you get to grips with finance in your small charity.

You might be a trustee, treasurer, volunteer or CEO who is responsible for finance, a sole practitioner or work in a team but want to develop your understanding of charity finance regulations.
Tailored to the needs of charities with an income of £1m or less, CFG’s Small Charities Programme offers training, guidance, tools and templates to improve your financial management, skills and systems, in turn helping you to deliver greater impact for your beneficiaries

The training and resources follow five key strands:

• Budgets & forecasting
• Preparing reports
• Paying people
• Banking & accounting
• Gift Aid, Tax and VAT
All resources are free to download and training costs just £20 for a half-day, so you can attend all five sessions (2.5 days training) for just £100!

Training sessions will be held across England and Wales, including London and Birmingham between January and April 2017.

Take the first three steps to improve financial management in your small charity:
1. Book training now – places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Check out our resources – they’re all free to download.
3. Sign up to our mailing list – you’ll receive the latest updates and top finance tips direct to your inbox
