Human Trafficking is here, it’s happening now and it’s on our doorstep! Following the implementation of the Modern Day Slavery Act in 2015 Black Country Housing Group has partnered with Hope for Justice to raise awareness of Human Trafficking and support front-line workers to identify the signs, support victims and to report and deal with potential cases.

The session will involve:

- What is human trafficking and the different types that exist
The legal framework
- Recognising the signs and indicators of different types of trafficking
- Responding appropriately to victims and cases of human trafficking

The session will be led by experts in legally challenging perpetrators and supporting victims of human trafficking and will include actual case studies, practical guidance and an opportunity to ask the experts.

The session will be led by Hope for Justice, a small international charity which helps identify and rescue victims of human trafficking, exploitation and slavery, advocates on their behalf and provides restorative care that rebuilds lives.
