Our strategic objectives

To develop a high quality and pro-active voluntary sector for the benefit of the
residents of the Dudley Borough by positively engaging partners in support of
voluntary activity

As you may be aware, Dudley MBC have recently offered to welcome 20 families from refugee camps under the current humanitarian resettlement programme. We are therefore assembling a voluntary sector task group led by Dudley Council for Voluntary Service to co-ordinate voluntary sector provision for the new arrivals and I am hoping that you may be a suitable representative or may be able to share this email and link with your colleagues, or, alternatively, you may be aware of partners that would like to contribute to the group.

At the moment we have no dates for arrivals and limited information, but we are keen to agree membership of the task group.

After consultation an initial meeting slot has been agreed for Thursday 19th November 10.00 – 13.00 at dy1, Stafford Street, Dudley, DY1 1RT (formerly Age Concern Day Centre).

To confirm attendance please RSVP via email to dale@dudleycvs.org.uk stating your name and which voluntary organisation you will be representing.

Please feel free to share out with partners and colleagues who you feel would like to attend and could contribute to the group.
