Henry Smith Charity: Holiday grants for children programme, apply 19th July for trip before 31st August or 19th November for trip before 31st December 2015
Size of grant available: £500-£2,500 
Aims and outcomes of funder: Provide grants towards cost of recreational holidays/outings for disadvantaged or disabled children aged up to 13 living in areas of high deprivation 
Additional information: Organisations are expected to contribute towards the cost of the holiday/outing therefore grants are limited to maximum two-thirds of the total cost

Postcode Community Trust: Organisations in the West Midlands can apply 1st-31st July 2015 
Size of grant available: £500-£20,000 (only registered charities can apply for grants above £2,000)
Aims and outcomes of funder: The over-riding theme is advancement of community development through a variety of ways such as learning new skills, involvement in sport and work addressing poverty, health or environmental improvement
Additional information: Will only provide grants for projects running up to 12 months in duration and will contribute to salaries/general running costs

Bailey Thomas Charitable Fund: Apply any time for small grants and by 1st August 2015 for the General larger grants
Size of grant available: Small grants up to £10,000; larger grants above £10,000
Aims and outcomes of funder: Support organisations aiding the care/relief of those affected by severe learning difficulties with intellectual disabilities and autism their priorities for children and adults
Additional information: Will provide grants for capital/revenue as well as for projects and general running/core costs to registered charities only

Weavers Company Benevolent Fund: Next application deadline 3rd August 2015 for committee meeting in October
Size of grant available: Up to £15,000 a year for maximum 3 years
Aims and outcomes of funder: Support organisations helping young disadvantaged people (aged 5-30) and offenders/ex-offenders aged under 30
Additional information: Will only support registered charities with income below £100,000 per annum

Skipton Building Society: Grassroots Giving programme re-opened in May and the application deadline this year is 31st July after which a shortlist will be compiled and placed on the website for a public vote from 1st September
Size of grant available: 162 prizes of £500 
Aims and outcomes of funder: Grants will be awarded to projects that create empowering opportunities and make life better for local communities
Additional information: Registered charities, organisations with net profit above £10,000 and successful applicants from last year cannot apply

Barrow Cadbury Trust: Small Change programme closing 30th June 2015
Size of grant available: Up to £3,000 
Aims and outcomes of funder: Support activities in which local people both give and receive help from each other providing one-off grants to help groups start an initiative or expand existing activities based on mutual aid
Additional information: Only organisations in Birmingham and the Black Country can apply and all projects funded must be member led i.e. not delivered by a paid worker

Money Advice Trust: 2016 Innovation Grants, submit expression of interest using online form by 5th July 2015
Size of grant available: Up to £30,000 
Aims and outcomes of funder: Support staff in charitable organisations provide effective debt and/or money advice, identifying/developing replicable new approaches or services to improve the UK's money and debt environment
Additional information: They are particularly interested in cost effective projects that engage with clients to develop their money skills, overcome barriers to accessing advice and support people on low incomes/self-employed

Marjorie Viggars Charitable Trust: Apply anytime, trustees meet annually in July/August and applications required one week before meeting

Aims and outcomes of funder: Funder operates a 3 year cycle; 2014 priority is supporting projects involving music and the arts and elderly people

Dudley MBC: Short Breaks grants, apply anytime, no deadlines
Size of grant available: Up to £499
Aims and outcomes of funder: Providers of activities for disabled children are invited to apply for funding to enable parents to have a break from caring while their children take part in new and exciting activities
Additional information: The types of short break can vary but of particular interest are activities provided in school holidays when families have a real need for a break during the day, evening, weekend or overnight

Aims and outcomes of funder: Support projects helping disadvantaged people return to mainstream society through residential or training facilities

Lloyds Bank Foundation: Three stage application process, no deadlines, apply anytime
Size of grant available: Up to £15,000 for 2 years funding (Enable) or up to £25,000 a year for maximum 6 years (Invest)
Aims and outcomes of funder: Support organisations helping people facing multiple difficulties move forward with their lives, breaking or preventing the cycle of disadvantage
Additional information: Will only support registered charities with income £25,000-£1M per annum. Once funded organisations may be eligible to receive further “tailored in-kind” support through the Enhance programme to strengthen and develop
