Our strategic objectives

To develop a high quality and pro-active voluntary sector for the benefit of the
residents of the Dudley Borough by positively engaging partners in support of
voluntary activity

A number of events were held last week across the Black Country, including one in Dudley on Wednesday 24/06.  These events were designed to identify potential delivery partners for the European Social Inclusion Fund.

The Dudley event was very well attended but I am mindful that not everyone with an interest in being part of the delivery was able to be there – if you were not able to attend and have an interest in being involved then this email is aimed at you.

At the event we clarified that:

-Black Country Together CIC is bidding to lead the ‘Families in Poverty’ strand £3.4 million: www.Blackcountrytogether.info
- Steps to Work are bidding to lead the ‘Employment support for over 24’s’ strand worth £10.6 million: www.stepstowork.co.uk
- The Heart of England Community Foundation are bidding to LEAD the ‘Targeted Communities’ strand worth £5 million: www.heartofenglandcf.co.uk
- Walsall Housing Group / The Accord Group are bidding to lead the ‘Financial & Digital Inclusion’ strand worth £3.9 million: www.Whg.uk.com or www.accordgroup.org.uk

If you have an interest in being a delivery partner in any of these strands then please follow the link to the organisations websites.  On each website you will find a copy of the presentation at the events, a link to the project outlines and an expression of interest form to complete.

All the information you need can be found through the websites but there are number of key points to be aware of:

Please read the project outlines for each strand before deciding if you wish to be involved and if so in which strand/s
- Please do look through the presentation from the events as this will answer many question you may have.
- The four organisations above will be bidding separately to be leads for their respective strands – they will not compete with each other.
- All four partners are using the same Expression of Interest (EOI) form but you will need to complete a separate form for each strand you wish to be involved with.
- EOIs need to be returned to the relevant lead organisation/s by 12th July at midnight (this is so that first stage applications can be sent to the Big Lottery by 3rd August).
- If you are a small organisation that does not want to consider bidding for a contract but does have an interest in playing a role then please note that we will be spot purchasing some delivery.  If you are interested in this then please contact the appropriate lead organisation.
- This is a competitive process and there are organisations other than those outlined above that will be bidding to lead.  We do not ask for exclusivity and it is for your organisation to decide which potential leads you wish to work with.
- Be aware that EU rules apply to this funding.
