Young Adult Carers in Dudley are invited to be part of a new DVD production that will celebrate the positive impact young carers make. If you are a young carer, (age 18-24) or you know of a young carer who might be interested in sharing their experience on film, circle the 2nd and 9th of May in your diary. Contributions for the DVD will be filmed on these dates at Phase Trust, Little Cornbow in Halesowen. Each filming session begins at 7pm; travel and food expenses will be reimbursed.

A conference about Parental Mental Health & Safeguarding Children is to be held in Netherton on Tuesday 23rd April 2013.

As part of its ongoing work with the Co-operative society, the Carer’s Trust is providing young adult carers with an online platform to share their stories and create awareness of what exactly caring for a loved one at such a young age involves.

Young people aged between 13 and 17 years old living in the Castle & Priory, St Thomas, Pensnett and Brockmoor Wards are invited to take part in a structured activity during the Easter holiday between Monday 8th and Friday 12th April.
